INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL
Ghent is located at approximately 50 km from Brussels and can be reached easily by air, train, or car.
• By air: Brussels Airport (www.brusselsairport.be), home base of Brussels Airlines (www.brusselsairlines.be) is a major European airport. There are two direct trains per hour between Brussels airport and Ghent. For detailed train information, go to:www.b-rail.be.
• By car: As Belgium has the most dense highway network in Europe, Ghent can be reached easily by car from all over Europe. The route description to the ICC Convention Centre is available here.
• By train: Upon arrival at Ghent St-Pieters railway station take tram 1, 10, 11 or 12 (every 6 minutes) to reach the hotels in the city centre. To go to the ICC Convention Centre take bus n° 28, 36 or 58. They have a stop in front of the ICC. The ICC is located at a mere 7 minutes’ walk through the Citadel park from the railway station.

There are plenty of parking facilities in the immediate vicinity of the ICC Ghent.
Behind the ICC Ghent - by the Casino hall entrance - there is a public car park with 95 spaces: the Azalea car park.
There is a second car park near S.M.A.K. called 'Museumplein'. You can also park your car in the streets around the Citadel park.
Furthermore there is a large public underground parking beneath Sint-Pietersplein with another 700 spaces within a 10 minute walk from the ICC Ghent.
Lastly, there is a brand-new undergrournd parking at Sint-Pieters railway station. The station is located at the 10 minutes' walk from the ICC Ghent.
The underground car park at the ICC will NOT be open to the public.
The ICC Ghent puts the motto 'We Care' into practice. As a public building, the ICC Ghent will offer complete accessibility for the disabled (recognised by VFG in 2006).
The ICC Ghent has special facilities for both wheelchair users and the aurally and visually impaired.
